i bought some at autozone and double sided taped them underneath the dash. best way to do it.. (i think). is find a power wire and tap into it and then to the same with a ground and wire it to a switch cause there may be times you dont want it on. so it is nice to have that option. you can get all kinds of switches at autozone too for like 4$ or so.

I found a two strips of red LEDs and mounted them to the fiber filler panel under each side of the dash. I poked small holes in the panel and used small zip ties to mount the strips. I wired them to my dome light so they act the same way as courtesy lights. Come on when the door is open and slowly dim and go out after you close it.

They have all kinds of options for interior LED's. Check out my How-To thread on them. It is way outdated and I have since changed things, but it will still help a little.
