Key fob programming

So can i use a aftermarket radio to program a key fob to my 2000 monte carlo

If you radio was properly installed and all of your steering wheel control buttons and radio functions still work, etc...Probably.
If not, You will have to buy the key fob with computer attachment piece from Oreillys. etc. Or take it to a dealer for reprograming.
