Will tbe 6500 6 1/2 fit right in? And after doin some research on polk audio i think im going to go with the models you suggested. I plan to buy 2 sets of the DXI6500 for the front doors and put them in the side panels in the back and get 1 or 2 sets of the DXI 690 and put them on the deck. My question is what would be a good amp to them without blowing them?

Will the 6 1/2 fit in my 06 monte lt doors? And a friend of mine told be to replace my 6x9 with a different size because they will sound better. Do you know what size i can use and which model of the DXI's i should get?

 

IMO...you need to use what fits and functions properly in that area of the doors and not hack them up to fit something that doesnt normally fit there as it also effects the sound quality....

Good judgement is a must when it comes to sound quality!

 

Reson i ask and was looking to make that change is because i jave a ton of bass in my trunk and was looking for just vocals from inside the car. I know 6x9 tend to have more bass than other sizes.
