Default Highbeam out message box

ok so here's the situation my highbeam out light is on in the message box and my highbeam sign stays on constantly on the dash. here's what confuses me though, my high beams are on all the time extra bright, what the issue is that my lowbeams (lights that come on at night) they are on but they seem to be very dim, basically my dim lowbeams and high highbeams are on at the same time, i was gonna replace the lowbeams with hids but might just get new bulbs for them because this is annoying me, would this fix the problem? any help on this issue guys?

I had one dim headlight last winter and it turned out to be a blown DRL fuse. It is in the fuse boxes under the hood. It took a lot of work and troubleshooting for me to figure it out. Oh and to answer your question no new bulbs wont fix the issue.

What exactly would that fuse say? Drl? And is it the top fuse box or the bottom one under the hood

Drive around and enjoy your new super lights Was the fuse good? Maybe the DRL relay went bad, I notice your parking lamps aren't on so it seems to be something funky with the drl system What happens when you turn the lights on manually?

the fuse was good i believe if it was the right one it was a blue 15amp, if i turn them on manually basically all the lights come on including the parking lamps, but still the regular lights are dim an highbeams stay on

ive checked the harness at the light i believe

the bottom ones i check and it was metal and shining so no signs of corrosion, the top plug on both sides wouldnt come out so i didnt even mess with it, im not sure if it was suspose to come out or not. the low beams seem dim and im wondering would that cause the highbeams to stay on even if the lowbeams are on but did....in other words if i change the low beam buk=lbs could this go away?
