Heads Up Display

Alright, while I was at a local salvage yard today, I happened across 3 gtps. I got the radio out of one, the other two were torn up.
Then I started thinking. I saw the heads up display, does anyone know how I could go about wiring this puppy up to my car?
I know ill need the" projector" the switch, and as much wiring as possible.

This was talked about before, and Bumpin' Chad had a good idea how to do it, and cut up the dash and wire it up.

I've heard it's been way more of a pain than it's worth. And not many people were even able to do it and it look good.

Kinda sucks that GM never offered this option on Monte Carlos. To my knowledge the only Chevrolets that got HUD is the Corvette.

There is a guy with a late model Regal GS and he implemented hud. He didn't use the special window but did say without it - the visibility was dimmer than usual. But there was indeed a lot of wiring and spicing.

The New Camaro's have optional HUD...The 2012 Camaro ZL1 is my dream car. Check it out on chevy's website if youre a fan

My Friend has it on his car and said it wasn't that great stock. So why bother with it as an add on.

I believe (as mentioned) you have to change out the whole windshield for it to display correctly...Cool thing imo, but as stated way to much of a pita to do if it does not come stock.
