Has anyone used Retrosound speakers?

They seem to be the only ones that will fit up in my door panel on my 95-99 Monte doors (5.25) and in the stock location behind the seat (6x9). I would like to know about their sound quality and experience as far as them holding up over time. Thank you folks.

i know nothing about them but their are plenty ofspeakers that will fit that just go to sonic electronixs.com

Sonic electronics only goes by the speaker size on the website for fitment, not the installed height for speaker which is the major limitation in this era Monte Carlo since there's hardly any room. The 2000+ Monte's are far more forgiving in their speaker design allowment.

you can sort by depth, they do consider depth, but sonic isn't perfect theys ell THOUSANDS OF speakers, so they aren't always up to date on info, it's all retroactive, meaning they usialy don't find problems til it's happened :( but you can sort by depth like i said.
5-1/4" Component Systems (Shallow Mount Installation: Yes) | Car Speakers | Car Audio | Car Audio, Video & GPS at Sonic Electronix

and bam, shallow mount speakers ;)

One big problem is that I'm not looking to install a component setup in the car in the car, hence why I'm asking about Retrosound speakers.
