Completed Diamond Plate floor board
Finally the rear compartment is completed. Needed something to conceal the stereo's crossovers and wiring whcih are mounted in the depressed area where the rear bench seat noramlly is. I had a carpet covered false floor there, yet it somehow seemed unfinished, just not enough of a pop to it. So took some measurements, made a template, took it to a metal fab shop and had this diamond plate floor board cut out. I personally think it adds a nice finished touch to the stereo compartment. The leading edge of the diamond plate is a pick up truck tail gate edge protector I had lying around. Heck after I cut it to length and did an test fit and visual assesment thought it looked pretty trick and installed it. Needed something to cover up some screw heads that hold the floor board plate in place...So...What do you think of the amp, sub, cap and floor set up???
