The plastic piece in the middle, I plan on facing my subs and port towards the cabin

i wouldnt. just drop a seat i do it on ocassion doesnt make a difference for reference i have 2 10"s in a sealed box facing reward i need a ported box though

If my seats drop I have know idea how to do it, its an 00' LS

There should be a loop near the top on the side you pull to release the seat to fold down ..

I think you will find that facing the sub towards the rear will sound louder.. At least in my car they do

agreed. i wouldnt want to chance ruining the seats, just put the seats down on ocassion

I've never noticed a difference with the seat down... I have my sub facing sideways

You should have your sub facing the back of the vehicle. You'll get the best results. I would just keep it as it is, you're not going to notice a big difference with the seat down anyways.

Take the 6x9s out of the rear deck, & point that sub box TWD the BACK of your car., Let the gain you will "gain" rock the Hell out of you, your passengers, & your neighborhood.

But, really, ... You have a (2002 Monte Carlo) car with fold-down rear seats & have zero idea how to fold them down?!

Ooops, ... I think I did it again.

I got mine facing the rear, seat down dont help much imo
