Welcome to the site. Maybe you should give a little more info on what exactly your trying to do. We have some members with extensive car audio backgrounds so I'm sure they can help

lol ya i guess i didn't give much of an explanation and thanks for the warm welcome! I just want to get rid of the stock cd player with a tv but I was wondering which tv's fit in the opening i've had in dash tv's but i was just wondering is there a certain size that fits correctly were the stock cd player is? i went on crutchfield after posting and it said this in dash tv will fit 6.2 inch. And its only 300 so its not bad but by putting this tv in will it interupt any other electronics in the car becasue the guy i bought it from said other things run off the radio...Im not sure im new to the monte i just bought it today so wanted input before i ripped apart the dash. Ive put in plenty of systems but in other vehicle i just put an in dash in my durango but it was a pop out. Thanks fella's help greatly appreciated!

so you're just looking for an in-dash dvd/nav type unit? any double-din unit will fit, none are any bigger than the other really, they may go deeper but if you're just looking at double-din's you should be fine with just about any of them.

one thing is you will have to use a dremel tool to remove some of a plastic bracket behind the stock headunit to make it fit.

If you're just trying to put a tv or monitor in there, then just measure it out and put what will fit.
