Anyone RIT-DYE their monte's carpet?
has anyone done it before??
i was thinking of dying my carpet sometime in the near future because of it having some stubborn stains  also one of my rear mats has some small bleach stains on it  lol and plus i would like it to be darker :D i dyed my Lightning's carpet before i sold it and it came out great! and it was a light gray color so im assuming my monte's would come out looking better since its a some-what dark color already heres some pics of my L color of factory carpet http://i922.photobucket.com/albums/a...rpetbefore.jpg after 15 boxes of rit-dye and 24 hours later of being soaked in a Large garbage can :D http://i922.photobucket.com/albums/a...MCF/carpet.jpg Lookin good  after installed http://i922.photobucket.com/albums/a...992/MCF/11.jpg |
I guess nobody has lol
I'll try it one day tho ;) |
I knew someone who did it with a spray bottle. he just mixed it up and filled the sprayer a little at a time. It was a lighter carpet too and he went black. If it work that way for you I'd say do it again. It looked great in the truck by the way
Also I think skylark65 spray painted his carpet black. |

Also I think skylark65 spray painted his carpet black. I just followed the procedure of soaking it in really hot water for at least a day Supposably it works better with hot water? Lol I guess it worked great for me lol |
