Anyone RIT-DYE their monte's carpet?
 

has anyone done it before??
i was thinking of dying my carpet sometime in the near future because of it having some stubborn stains :mad:
also one of my rear mats has some small bleach stains on it :eek: lol
and plus i would like it to be darker :D
i dyed my Lightning's carpet before i sold it and it came out great! and it was a light gray color so im assuming my monte's would come out looking better since its a some-what dark color already

I knew someone who did it with a spray bottle. he just mixed it up and filled the sprayer a little at a time. It was a lighter carpet too and he went black. If it work that way for you I'd say do it again. It looked great in the truck by the way

Also I think skylark65 spray painted his carpet black.

I just followed the procedure of soaking it in really hot water for at least a day

that carpet-Dye you did looks awesome! I have rit dyed many vests made of jean for punks and i fouNd the hotter the water is, tHe better.
