Default 1998 Monte LS Driver seat help

Hello,

Im looking for the driver seat foam for a 1998 Monte LS. The cushion is pretty worn so id like to replace but i can not find it anywhere. Does anyone know the specs or if another seat cushion thats still around would fit? Would like to replace it as im going to drive this thing for a few years i hope. Thanks for taking a looking and if you can help that would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

I have a complete seat that would work. what color is the one you have I might be able to remove the pad and seat cover and mail that to you. mine is a Tan

the door panel I took out the old interior and put in Leather.

I kept the seat as it is powered just incase the one I have goes bad.

No local junkyards with a 5th gen? I guess they're getting old enough that there probably isn't any demand beyond the scrap metal anymore.

A local auto upholstery shop could rebuild it as well with brand new foam of whatever density you wanted.

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the late response on my end. I found a company in town that is going to remake the pad for me. Will be better foam and all so im going to go that route. I had another question for you. I need the center counsel lid as it is broken. Would you happen to have that? Included pictures of it for refference. Ive tried looking online but can not find the exact one i have. Thanks again for your time!

Thanks for the idea! I have reached out to an upholstery company in town and they are going to rebuild it for me. Excited to have a comfortable seat again soon.

Not to sound pessimistic, but you're likely never going to find one. They've been discontinued by GM for a very long time. Ive never found a single one in a junkyard that wasn't broken (but always look as there's a chance). But with how old the plastic is now, even if it wasn't broken on arrival, I'm sure they get broken by scrappers hopping in and out to grab parts.

Always thr chance some NOS pops up that a dealer didn't realize they had tucked away, but again the chances are one in a million.

Only real option is to fix what you've got.

I maybe able to help on the console lid, I found one in a salvage yard that had a fix on it the person made a bracket to fit on the lid.
So I used it for awhile and then I found one that was perfect yet. I am now using it.
So I have been working on a repair for the lid and I made a bracket and all I need to do is test it out. I will keep you posted if it is a successful thing.
I have attached a photo of the original I found in a salvage yard.

New lid I found
