ZZPerformance 3800 Stainless Steel Cat Back System

1 Attachment(s)
Just received a ZZPerformance Stainless Cat back system. They are on eBay for $599 and on first look seem to be a great quality, highly polished and complete with chambered resonator and 2 mufflers with factory hangers. Includes everything to mount the system. I will do an install thread come springtime when it's warm enough to work outside.

Could you post a video when it's installed? I've been wanting to replace my cat. with zzperformance and thought about just getting a whole new exhaust from them. Currently have a muffler delete and getting tired of the drone in the car after removing them from about 5 years ago, but I don't want something that's too quiet.

Yes I will try. It might be a few weeks. The SS is at the body shop right now. I had a parking lot incident with significant damage. Once that is fixed I plan on installing the ZZP downpipe/high flow cat. I am not sure the best way to rid of the 3800 drone. The magnaflo exhaust I have helps though.

I will do the same. The good thing they advertise about this system is the chambered resonator is supposed to eliminate the drone, who knows for sure if that is true but I'm sure it works better than stock.

None from me, they are still in the box. It's still kind of cold windy and damp here but I'm going to hopefully work on my wheels this weekend, got some aircraft stripper and buffing compound so will be able to get rid of the clear coat and polish them up soon. I'm doing wheels and new tires first since my old tires are very low on tread...

I hope the wheels come out nice Dave! I have been wanting to do mine but haven't gotten up the courage.

I installed my ZZP downpipe with high flow cat this weekend. Man it looks good and sounds good. The exhaust is deeper toned and louder. My factory cat must have been clogged bad because the increase in acceleration is significant. She is free breathing now for sure!

Any sound clips?

I will have to work one up.
