Will K&N 3800 intake fit in my 3400?
 

Maybe a dumb a question, but since the bays are so similar, I’m wondering has anyone installed or know it would fit in my 05 3400?

No, they don't drop in. The 3800 MAF is build into the throttle body and the 3400 uses and external MAF housing in the intake tube. So the 3800 intake kits don't have a provision for connecting up this piece in the supplied tubing.

You could certainly modify it to work, but frankly the KN is the worst cold air intake kit of the wbody options available.
