SLP or Dynomax?
Hi, I really want to upgrade my factory exhaust system but I'm not sure if I want to get the Dynomax Super Turbo system or the SLP PowerFlo system. Just wondering if you guys have any preferences or experience with these exhaust systems, thanks!
I wasn't sure what to get either - I didn't want it to be too loud but I wanted to hear a low rumble when the car was running. I got a Dynomax muffler with a custom tip and it's perfect - just a little louder but not too loud, nothing the neighbors will object to. If I want it louder in the future I'll do a resonator delete.
My true prefernce is the GMPP kit but good luck finding one for sale. However, out of the two that you posted I would choose the SLP because I did have the Dynomax catback years ago and it was alright but I met up with a guy years back that had the SLP and compairing stories and seeing in person the SLP was nicer in my opinion in fitment and sound (interior and exterior).
Thanks for the input guys I'm thinking I may go with the SLP. But I did find the Dynomax system for just under $400 and that's a lot more in my price range than the SLP. May just have to wait a few more weeks and get the SLP
I have both - if you deal with winter and salt I would go with the SLP. But I like the tips of the Dynomax system better - fits the cut outs better. SLP is going to be louder in the cabin cause it doesn't have a resonator and I like the fact that it is 2.5 pipe instead of 2.25.
