Jheeszz, you never stop amazing me. Fascinating to see you working. Has to be many a busted knuckle and thrown wrench, but the payoff is totally worth it. You have done what maybe one handful of people in the whole U.S. have done with your Monte RWD conversion, simply incredible. That exhaust by the way is too waaay cool, wish I had that setup, quicker dump of backpressure. Keep at it, you a crazy wun, dats fo sho...
Thanks Zippy 👍, it gets plenty of attention wherever I go , usually hear it coming from a block away. Although yours is a pretty mean machine. So many upgrades I'd love to copy , just don't park too close to me.
Yes , I'm going for the Nascar look with them exiting out the side in front of the back tires. These are my old one's. They cracked from the engine harmonics so we designed the new set a little different. Also used stainless steel this round.
Those tips (not sure "tips" is the right word) are cool. They call those something, what is it. Cant remember.
You have any videos on youtube or anything of your car?

I believe the word you are looking for is "Boom tubes" , usually they are made for ground clearance issues and are flat all the way to the header. For some reason I can't upload a video.

I was able to put a SS exhaust system on my car and it was one of those factory/dealer type options for this particular year. Someone on here suggested I check it out and Wala I did I got the complete Cat-bac for about $80.00 the fellow only had 3 sets it was an ebay thing. It turned out really nice. I have tried several tips. The first one was just a round tip in SS. The next one was the double Bowtie tip, and finally I found some really nice SS tips like I had on my Chevelle back in the 60/70's and they are what I like the best.

Unfortunately any of the side graphics I had to incorporate because of the folks who don't care banging the doors against the thing. Long about 2003 I got into a fender bender on I-80 this guy was next to me and was coming over into my lane and actually hit me, the combination of that and Mrs. Bickerson screaming and the Hot McDonalds coffee that just spilled in my lap the thing went everywhere until I popped it into Neutral and then it straightened out the anti locks worked.
But it booger-ed up the passenger side rear quarter. New quarter and door skin at that time, after 5 years there were more dings in that side then anywhere on the car. I always parked out in the out lot and I think folks come by and beat on it while I am in the store. You know I have never caught them because you would read about it in the Newspaper or on TV.
I would be like Officer I think something dropped out of the sky and hit the idiot! Lol
