should i take off the resomator

i have a 2007 monte carlo ls with a 3.5L, i recentley put a flowmaster 40 delta flow on it. it has ok sound but lots of cab drone i wonder if taking off the resonator will help it sound a little better, right now its kinda muddy..

Hi James and Welcome to the MCF
Is your LT single exhaust ?
I think taking off the resonator will just make it louder.
Have your considered getting a Y pipe and making duals
with FLowmasters ?
Wish you Good Luck

taking OFF the resonator.... dude if you can't stand it now it'll make your ears bleed wihtout that resonator... slowmasters are known for their cabin drone....

I have 2 flowmaster 40s, with a ubend and res delete. I love hearing my exhaust... I wouldnt want it any other way. although if its too loud in the cabin for you now, maybe you could invest into dyno mat or something to help block out noise?
