My Dynamax catback system came with a glass pack to go in it's place, btu that wasn't loud enough for me so I had the rear muffler cut off. After 2 years of that, I decided my front wheel drive V6 wasn't a race car (people love to fight this one with me here, and they're entitled to) and had the stock mufflers put on with the dynamax glass pack and it sounds just like it did stock. I believe it's just supposed to keep cabin drone down, which it does nicely. I'd just buy what they call an "Axle back" kit, or just a pair of mufflers and roll if it were me and I was doing it all again.

Do you have the V6 Or V8? Also I have the DOD removed so its in V8 mode all the time.

I think in our cases, especially since you have DOD tuned out it'll sound good. I personally have just swapped my mufflers out but had been looking into changing my resonator to a smaller one. I don't want any interior drone and I fear that without one I'll have some. Especially since I still have DOD enabled. I'd like to get a 12"-14" resonator to replace my stock one, just to wake up the exhaust a little more.

Rick, you still have DOD, right? How do the Summit mufflers sound while running in 4-cylinder mode while running 75 mph? Does is sound like an Apache heli is trying to land on your roof?

I had some Flowmaster 40's on mine for exactly 5 days. The car sounded so aweful in 4-cylinder mode, (and resonated so bad) that I had the stock mufflers put back on.

Mel, if you are without dod, I would go for it. SHould sound wonderful!

I think they sound good. I get lots of compliments on it, and even my fiance likes it. She actually wishes it was louder. Yes it sounds helicopter-ish in 4 cylinder mode, but at 75 MPH I really can't hear it.

I am going to take it off and put the Magnaflow resonator on the shelf.
