Pappa's got a brand new bag!!
Hello, everyone! I have been on hiatus for a while. Busy with 2 jobs, new baby and home improvements.
Well, my wife decided that I have been putting a lot of work into the house and helping her with the baby, so she surprised me for christmas with my new Dynomax mufflers. Given my complete dearth of spare time, I have only just been able to get them installed as of this morning. Here are the video samplings. Before... Pre-Dynomax Install After... Post-Dynomax Install Sorry for the commentary!! My wife was kind enough to take the video, I guess I have to take what I get! I hope to post a better sample soon, once they break in a little. This was taken just 20 minutes after install. |

They sound damn good are those Super Turbo mufflers? Also do you only have the mufflers done or do you have res. out too?

Yup, Super Turbos. Part #'s: 17666 and 17667 (Left & Right). Just muffs.I considered the res delete as well, but the way it is setup now, no rasp and verymanageable noice level at speed. I think I will leave the resonator, just delete ubend later.
The video does not do it justice, though. Sounds much better in person. When I pulled in to work tonight I parked next to a ricer civic, pumped the gas and set off his alarm!! Very nice idle exhaust note. |

Glad to see you back Bigg Jason. Been a while. Glad to hear everything is OK with the family, and that you've just been busy. It's nice when your wife or family surprise you with things TOTALLY unexpected, like youe new muf's. I got a new Magnaflow 3" catback system sitting here for LadyT's Solstice GXP, but I want it welded in, so I've been waiting. I'm thinking I'm just going to hang it anyway, and get it welded later, when I'm working more, or should I say again, and can afford to get it welded right.

Finally someone else that has them!! They always seem to get bad press here for being too quiet but I think they are loud enough that you can notice them but still slip under the police radar for "loud exhaust".
