Next Step: Headers
 

Hey all, I just finished up with my current ordered mods. I've installed the Cold Air Inductions intake, ZZP 180 t-stat and the Autolite 104 sparkies so now I want to tackle the exhaust area before scanning for KR before figuring out what size pulley I want to drop to. So, I'm trying to decide between headers and power logs. The ZZP power logs and 3" downpipe look good and seem easy, as I need to keep my cat where I live. But for the price of those people have been saying I might as well get real headers. I know of all the known brands of them like Speed Daddy (SLP), Pacesetters, etc, etc. But I need my cat and I don't know how cats and headers work. Any info would be great, thanks.

you would need to have your existing or a new cat welded on to the downpipe of the headers. depending on how much hp you are looking for you might just want to keep your existing cat to the header. if you go after market cat you will want to find a cat that will work good enough to pass emissions.
