no its not illegal to run mufflerless exhaust...as long as there's something on there...a resonator does count as a muffler....doesn't getting rid of the mufflers reduce back pressure so you lose horsepower??

i'm getting 26 mpg but wicked burn outs lol, thats why i need to do my intake BAD, i couldnt figure out anything today on moking it up, because of the emc in my air box
