Muffler and tips

Hey guys i'm looking for options on mufflers and chrome tips for my 04 SS. I have the stock exhaust on it now which ends just before the rear ground effects. I see some Monte's around with chrome tips that come out flush with the ground effects and i want mine to do the same. I was wondering if they were a muffler/tip all in one or a custom muffler with tip added?? Also I would like to give my car a little more rumble but not be too loud. What are you guy's running for mufflers/tips?

You can get the muffler/tip seperate or as an integral unit. It just depends on how the particular manufacturer offers it. I wanted a little more exhaust note but didn't want to be obnoxiously loud so I retained my original mufflers and just replaced the resonator with a Magnaflow glasspack. It has a nice, mellow tone at idle and on acceleration with no drone at cruising speed.

As far as Tips go:

Your local shop can instahl them for you and set them up to either line up with lower cutout..or extend out past it....
Im really kinda partial to my "BOWTIE" Tips...
That donot xtend past the cutout...

I would go with a magnaflow muffler/tip combo, the shop will put a small pipe inbetween the muffler and the tip to get it to sit where you'd like.
