if you are unsure how to make your own, go to autopartswarehouse.com buy one, and install it. It's a simple bolt-in procedure, will be cheaper than 407$

but it won't be as cheap as making your own, which i really wouldn't recommend if you aren't sure how to start.

There are tons on ebay for really cheap. I would not buy a cheap one though. What size engine does your car have?

Whatttt!!! autozone for that price that outragous!!! i got my K&N Charger Kit at autozone for $249 but i regret it because later i say the trasher kit on 3800performance.com

http://www.3800performance.com/Merch...roduct_Count=2

Would of rather gotten this kit over the K&N i think im going to replace this because although the K&N kit is good its not the best... as i relized that the filter would vibrate and as time went by the filter would rub against the PCM wire and would accually stripe the wires and cut them big NO NO!! since the K&N kit has no bottom plate to protect the PCM.... And this trasher kit really catches my eye because it looks to be completly sealed keeping unwated hot air away from the filter....

Chromeintake is a ebay store that has good feed back and great prices for most cars.

would not recommend a cheap one on ebay. Take a look at what some of the other people on the site are using and ask questions. I have a 3.4 SFI engine, and most around here have 3.8's. Depending on your engine ask some of us in a pm or post about what we run and how we did it.

here's my intake setup. i got the tubing from intense. zzp sells them too they sell it by the foot. the cone i use is S & B from my old thrasher intake. i recommend to get either AEM or amsoil dry filter instead of the reoil kind cause the oil can/will dirty up the maf sensor and cause knock. i'm going to switch to dry filter sometime soon.
