K&N VS Spectre
Hello Gang. I am getting ready to purchase a CAI for my 2001 SS. I was going to go with K&N, but my friend Ron just bought a kit from Spectre for his 2007 Siverado and saved a few bucks. We are going to install it tonight.
Has anyone used both and have a preference? Is the quality of the K&N better than the Spectre? Thanks for any input. Great forum!:thumbsup: |
I would recommend either a ColdAirInductions kit, Wizaired Kit, or ZZPs 3800 CAI kit.
The K&N is pretty horrible. |

Yeah I have considered fabricating my own, I have a sheet of polished diamond plate I could use. |
Been running k and n on my car for over two yrs on both engines, same exact filter in fact. Couldnt b happier with it :)
