just a few questions

I got an LT2 and have a glasspack to throw in. Im thinking about just replacing the resonator with it. I know Duane did it. But will 40 series sound a lot better with the glasspack in? or should i just save my money and keep the stock muffler in? Just wondering, Thanks guys!

i have an 81 with a 350 and glasspacks, i have everything removed... just headers, downpipe, glasspack, then straight pipe, and it sounds great...check out my vids and you can hear it.

RE: just a few questions

the glasspack is whats giving your car most of its town. theres only one way to find out... but if what you want is loudness, i'd just let the glasspack be in there with pipes all the way out. to me, flowmasters sound a lot like straight pipe.

will there even be a significant difference in sound if i just leave the stock muffler on compared to a 40 series after the glass pack? or is it just a waste of money?

Yes there will be a differance. With Flowmaster on in place of the stockers, it will be louder. Not a waste of money do it. You'll like the sounds. As for Flowmaster's sounding like straight pipes I think not, a lot better tone and not as loud.
