Hi, this is my first post to the board. I have a 02 monte pace car edition. Love the car it never has given me any problems. I have now just started to put some money into after market parts. I put the K&N CAI and have been extremely impressed. I also purchased a Jet Performance Mass Air flow sensor. Here lies my problem, it does not fit my car. Every parts website to include the Jet homepage shows the sensor I got but does not fit my car. Does anyone know if the pacecar edition had a different air flow sensor set-up over any other 3.8 monte. I have taken it to numerous people and they all say the same thing that is the wrong part. Help, Suggestions anybody? Thanks

 

the 3800's use a diff type of MAF. if you have a tuner for your car and the right connector adapter you could get it to work, but chances are you dont need the MAF anyway. unless you go turbo or a SC with a small pulley your stock maf is fine... get your money back.
