IAT Temp vs Resistance

I'm looking for a chart that tells me Temperature vs Resistance for the intake air temp sensor on a 1997 Monte Carlo Z34. Thanks

RE: IAT Temp vs Resistance

never really seen one... why do you want it?

if it is to spoof the IAT save your time and money.... from the PCM file for 96 and 97 a higher IAT temp will only pull timing and not add any. if the computer thinks the IAT value isnt changing enough it will disreguard the sensor.

your best bet is go with a cold air intake and move the IAT as close to the filter as you can.

PS if your ever in the daytona beach area and want some tuning hit me up.

RE: IAT Temp vs Resistance

I'm not looking to put it on a monte... I'm looking for the GM IAT sensor that has a resistance to temp ratio fairly close to that of my stock Mitsu IAT sensor. If anyone knows of a sensor that has a resistance of 6.0k Ohms at 32*F,2.7k Ohms at 68*F, and .4k Ohms at 176*F, it would be much appreciated. Thanks,
