How loud

How loud do you think a Magnaflow round muffler where the res. is and 2.5" piping all the way back will be?

Also might just want to change the mufflers. Something different than Flowmasters, what do you guys think will sound the best?

I was thinking Borla too, I like how my g/f's car sounds with them. Also just wondering are the Super 44's louder or just deeper than the 40's?

i've got a system basically like you got, with a glasspack in there, nad it's loud as a mofo. i personally enjoy listening to it, as i thought the dynomax was far too quiet.

however, let me give you a little background on my noise tolerance:

6 summers in an 18 wheeler with noise being the last of my complaints. as a matter of fact, i'm not putting it on a list of complaints. my car is pretty noisy inside compared to a truck ,but not too loud for me.

RE: How loud

I've been around 18 wheelers all my life. I know loud trucks. My first car was an S10 5speed,with no cats, 2.5" straight pipes all the way back. I like loud just as much as the next person. Now our 66 Mustang with a hipo 289 and cam, 4 speedwith long tube headers full header back 2.5" piping back to Super 40's. Now that screams. But for a daily driver I don't think I want something that loud. Plus I take trips 4-5 times a years.
