Hey guys! I just wanted to share my exciting news with someone. I just put dual flowmasters series 40s out the back with 3.5in chrome tips. Left the resonator in and it sounds really great for a V6. The flowmasters provide the really nice low tone I wanted. For any V6 guys out there this is a great setup!

Nice choice. Any other gain aside from improved sound?

 

Not that I can tell. Im sure if I had the resonator out and had straighter less restrictive exhaust I would see something. I've read on the forum that cold air inductions help as well. But I was going for sound and looks and thats what I got

 

Ill work on getting one. Phone audio really doesn't give it justice

I think we have the same car and I would like to do something like this but I want more power gains and aggressive sound with that power than looks or sound alone.

 

I mean you can put in CAI's to get better fuel economy but as far as the 3.5l goes I'm pretty sure any performance gains/proudcts are little to none. That's my understanding based on looking around the forum

 

I have one CAI in now. It was a good improvement for me. Where would a second one go? I have heard of dual CAI before.
