getting an air intake for my 3.4..help quick

:confused:Yo,

I have a sligth issue that i want to work out before i get the wizaired cold air induction kit from zzperformance. A while back i messed around with trying to build my own CAI by connecting a cone filter directly to the intake tubing which is connected to the throttle body.
When i took it to gm for a tune up they fed me some crap telling me it was messing up my transmission:eek:, and need a whole new MAF. Long story short i bought into it like a dummy, and now i have a different, and very newer looking MAF and tubing connected to my airbox...just wanna be sure the wizaired on will work

Do you know what kind of MAF they put on? Most likely you will still be fine, I believe the Wizaired on the 3400 just connects before the MAF.

No, but i can find out. I wish they were more performance friendly, then i could just ask them if what they did would change anything with the intake, but i agree with you after having another look at the MAF

the maf on the wizaired is right before the throttle body, if it goes into the box you will still be fine because there is still a spot for it in the box.
