Flowmaster vs. Magnaflow

So I call a performance shop and tell them what I would like done to my car. I wanted Flowmaster 40s for my 03 3.8 v6 Monte, but she stated that Flowmaster series is not available for the 2003 Monte Carlo Magnaflow has an exhaust kit for the Monte Carlo which includes the exhaust system, cat-back, polished tips, inlet 2.5 inch and outlet at tips 3.5 inch round slant. My question is there really a difference between flow and magna? or is it just a name brand thing?

One has to know Flowmaster to love Flowmaster. They are a Cali company and I am a Cali guy. Most people here will recommend Magnaflow.

Go on Youtube and listed to the various demonstrations of the 2 different mufflers on your size engine and year of car.

I don't know why the shop can't make the Flowmasters work. A good shop has or can fabricate reducers or increasers.

any exhaust shop can make just about any kind of muffler fit. i suggest you to move along and shop around. they don't make flowmaster specificly for certain cars like ours. the shop you called probably want you to spend more money on the kits instead. i have flowmaster so does my buddy's 03 JG edition.

If you could afford it I would go Corsa or Borla strickly for the increased number's in flow, and there warrenties are great too, but i know everybody had there own preference.
