Flowmaster super 44
Im in the market for buying some flowmaster super 44s but when I went to their site i wasnt sure which one would fit my car. I have a 2002 MC SS with the stock exhaust. Would any other kind of FLOWMASTER sound better? Thanks in advance.

IDK off their website, but you would probably want a 2 1/4" inlet with a 2.5" outlet muffler
I assume you would be taking it to an exhaust shop to put it on, so perhaps they can order it for you too. |
I wanted to do that but im sure they would charge me more than what they are worth, thats why I wanted to buy them myself and just pay for the labor.

Usually they have a dealer's discount for most products, so they pay less than you would, and then they mark it up to roughly the same price. Or they add money and do a free install. In the end you aren't going to get ripped off.
I went on tirerack.com to buy tires, I also went to a tire shop to quote. I could get the tires $100 cheaper than their prices, then I had to factor in shipping, and mounting for each tire. When the shop would have included both of those things, in the end they wound up being $20 cheaper and less work for me. That's how businesses operate. |
Oh ok. I never even considered that lol. I guess ill locate a nice looking shop. I was so pissed at auto king when they cut out my resonator and replaced it with straight pipe and half way welded it. I wouldnt have even known if i didnt spray the under body of my car while it was running, it was like a baby spitting and it had a horrible hissing noise like air leaking from a tire. Ummm does Chibi have the answer to everyones questions? Lol he's a Monte Expert.

I do A LOT of reading about Monte Carlos :)
Also having and working on one for nearly 10 years helps. |
