Flowmaster, Magmaflow, or Dynomax
I am looking at replacing the mufflers on my ss 3.8. I have seen lots of vids and kind of like the Magnaflow sound, but want to see what you all have used on yours. What exaust have you tried, and what did you think of the sound and performance. GO!!!!!

ive heard great stuff on all of them but my personal favorite is flowmaster
they give a nice deep tone, nothing too high pitch, but they was on an eclipse GT I had but they sound good on just about any car ive seen |
I chose the Magnaflow because I'm not a fan of too loud exhausts and I got a good offer from this shop- Magnaflow Exhaust|4WO. This exhaust has a nice deep tone. My buddy has the Flowmaster and it is louder though not raspy.

I have Flowmasters, alot of people have em cause of agressive, throaty sound. But I've heard magnaflow actually has better flow and real added horsepower. I think dynomax is just a knock off Flowmaster just cheaper

Had magnaflow on an 03 ss and really liked the sound + better fuel mileage but if you really want better flow make sure you upgrade your air supply. I would recommend a cold air inductions intake it made my 03 growl.

Magnaflow... I've had them since 2008 and the mufflers are still in great shape, come with warranty and sound. The sound is better thj flow master. Deeper tone not as raspy. Especially if you put a cam in your car like I did the combination of both sounds great. Go to a local exhaust shop and hev your pipes aluminum. It's cheaper and it will last 5 years before replacing the pipes but the mufflers can work with 2.25 up to 3 inch piping

I got Magnaflow cat-backs
Love em |
I run an unbranded Magnaflow, it was the GM Performance cat-back for these cars.

I have the Dynomax cat-back and love it. It has a nice, deep rumble at idle, but not obnoxious when you stomp on it. Looks good too!
