i was wondering what is the difference between the flowmaster 40 series and the super 40 series. is there much of a difference? and if so what would produce a better sound for a 3.8 no supercharger. i plan on doing more perfomance mods later on too.

 

Super 40's are louder and the Delta Flow are a little bit quieter. I have Delta Flow 40's and love the sound on my 3.9. Delta Flow's are designed to be quieter on the inside. You can still hear them pretty good on the inside but are quieter than Super 40's. Flowmaster has the 44's out they are suppose to be the loudest and most aggresive mufflers.

 

then which would be better for me to buy would the super 40's even be worth it?

You can't go wrong with Super 40's, Delta Flow 40's or the 44's. All of them are going to give you a good deep powerful sound. You don't have to worry about that. I've hadFlowmaster's on pretty much everything I've owned, and loved them everytime. Just pick which ever one you want and you won't go wrong. Let us know which one you pick.

 

I'll agree it really doesn't matter which Flowmasters you get. You will be happy with them.
