Filter type, Max size for a Wizair & downpipe ?

It's time! The snow is melting Uncle Sam is sending me 600 dollars and I'm going to buy the downpipe and Wizaired CAI. Now for the questions.

1. Instead of the standard oiled (K&N) filter I'm thinking about an AEM non oiled one. Anyone have any real time experiance with them. Sounds like a great idea and everthing I've read seems to be good.
2. What is the max size airfilter I can fit in the Wizaired box 4x9?
3. For 10 dollars more I can go up to the 3" downpipe (304 stainless bolt in w/high flow cat). Is upgrading to it going to cause me any issues? Keep in mind I'm also going to have the resonator removed.

I'll be buying all of this stuff (Except the airfilter) from ZZPerformance unless someone has a good deal on a used one.

1. No clue. I would google it and look for opinions.

2. That is about right. I went to Advanced Auto Parts and matched it up there.

3. A definate must have mod that is great and you will notice the difference.

I have a 4x9 K&N, and it's pretty tight in the WizAired box... that's about as big as you could get away with.

I have had the K&N for 4 years now, and I'm still on my original. It's real faded now, so I bought a new one for this season. I have never had issues with the oiled ones... you can actually get away with not oiling it, use brake cleaner from the inside, bang it out, and let it dry. Give it a very slight coating just to give it that shiny red look afterwards.

As for the ZZP 3" DP with cat, go for it.... 3" is the magic number, no less on the SCed 3800. I have the same DP and cat in my setup.
