Exhaust vs Headers+Exhaust??

So, would there be any benefit to just installing ZZP exhaust without also installing headers? I can buy a complete system sans headers for about $400.00. Would it help performance or do I need the headers as well to make any difference?

Depending on what you are doing to the motor, headers are a waste of money. A plog from zzp on the front exhaust with a downpipe is the way to go. Mufflers don't really do much performance wise for our cars, you get them for the sound you want. A zzp cat back exhaust is a good system from what I've read. I would do the resonator delete while you are at it and be warned you may throw a code but you can have that tuned out or zzp sells an 02 emulator that is supposed to get rid of the code that the downpipe will throw

Headers = power. Catback exhaust/mufflers is mainly just for noise.

deff go with headers and the DP. youll get a lil noise out of it if thats what u want, and u get some nice power. i drove my friends SC MC with headers and that zzp DP, it felt powerful. mufflers are too nasty sounding on these engines. it deff sounds like a chainsaw so deff youtube some options, theres a bunch of vidz up with random mufflers:thumbsup:
anyone no a thing or 2 about the speed daddy headers? tryin to put em in
