exhaust q's

So I was talking to a local exhaust shop here and they reccomended that I go with a magnaflow exhaust system. Ive seen mixed reviews here over magnaflow and flowmaster. I want a deep sound thats not too raspy (i know it will never be an 8).....I even thought of maybe just putting thrush tubes. So I was curious what mufflers to get (ill probably just do the mufflers and res delete) or what size mufflers I need so I can check ebay for prices? Or has anyone done just thrush tubes? if so what are the best?

heres a clip of the sound i like

RE: exhaust q's

from what i hear 3800's have a rasp that is hard to get rid of. my best suggestion on exhaust is----

stock cat
2.5" piping
2.5" magnaflow muffler in center of car about 14-20" long tube style
then a glass pack muffler where the resonators are. then a Y pipe to dual tips.

you can add diff size resonators to elimiate diff sections of rasp and deadon sound at ceritin rpm. its like tuning a musical instrument.
