Corvette type exhaust
 

Hi all,

I clipped this from the write up on this site about the '06 Monte:

"The LTZ and SS models also offer a large, dual outlet exhaust system, similar to that seen on the new Corvettes."

I don't think there is anything similiar on the LTZ except that it simulates some sort of dual exhaust.

So I wanted something that looked sportier than the stock duallies. I went out about bought some tips. I like them, I think I'll have them tacked on. What do you all think?

you got a 06 and didnt get the V8! shame on you!
but the car and the tips look good

ehhhh. Not crazy about the tips, but if you like them...that's all that matters.

I agree with BiggJ, I would find something a little bigger to fill the void.

PS. Bigg `J (Jason) is the one with talent. Maybe he will play in
his coloring book & put on a set of tips:)

Yeah but you won't believe what I paid for this....try under 18k!!!

Bigger, hmmm. Okay, these tips were cheap enough. I saw a pair for $50 that opened fron 2.75 to arouond 3.5-4 inches. Will check it out later.

Space..you are too kind.:) But, flattery will get you everywhere!!

SolaraSlayer...DON'T SPEND TOO MUCH MONEY ON TIPS!!! I got mine from Walmart for less than $18 and have gotten many compliments on them. I will post pics and do a few chops for you. Soon to come.

I agree, the tips need to be a little bigger. Not huge like coffe can rice rocket huge, just a bit larger to fill the void. Otherwise, you got a sweet deal on the car!! I paid close to $23k for a fully loaded LT2, but I also got the fuel price protection and 72 months 0% financing over 4th of July weekend. Nice monte! Take care.
