BEST COLD AIR INTAKE FOR 2006-2007 MC'S
 

Hello all, Well I bought the cheap intake off ebay and i tried it, it was not worth the money, it takes in hot air and it's just cheap, you get what you pay for, so after getting tired of this intake, I did alot of researching and for all us with 2006 - 2007 mc's the best intake is the MPD INC Cold Air Intake Kit for $285.99
The air box is well designed and keeps harm away from our little computer around that area< The bad thing with the cheap kit is there is no protection for the computer< so thankfully I am going with the best kit so I do burn out my computer come summer time< this kit will work for our v6'S AND THE V8. i RECOMMEND mpd inc all the way and yes their box is better than the plastic shroud that the k&n aircharger system has for th v8 because mpd's box will keep out more heat. Don't buy those cheap kits off ebay, not worth the money.

that box isnt a MPD air box. its made by www.coldairinductions.com and he provides them to mpd. the guy makes them in his garage, and he used my blue 2006 to make the first one for our v8 cars. i love the intake and highly recommend it to anyone.

So, these MPD cold air intakes will fit the 2006 3900 V6? Please post pics.

I talked to the guys at MPD and he said it fits just need an adapter to make it fit
