Xenon spoiler mounted pics.
I would say no to the double sided tape. In the long run if you have to drill another hole and screw another screw into the spoiler you're going to be better off and have it be stronger, especially if you ever take it off you wont have to worry about retaping.
You might have to drill some holes in the trunk lid to do it correctly but just seal the bare metal off then with some rust converter or something.

im just thinking long term durability, a screw is going to last longer that double sided tape may potentially last.
nice, hey if it works for you it works
I HAVE the Xenon spoiler right now and am mounting it tottaly differant then what you are "supposed to" mount it. First off, get it on and adjust it to fit like a glove by massaging the spoiler until it has a perfect fit, takes a lot of time because of the type of material it's made from. Wish it was fibroglassing or close to it. Then, after putting it into place with "stainless replacment screws and "taping the front down
Then, get some gorilla hair resin to smoth it out so it appears to be molded into the trunk. After its "molded" in, then continue to massage
Then I am using 5 NASCAR spolier braces I bought from RCR racing to give it the support it needs (in my opinion) tighten them snug, adjust them for square ess and degree. Then I am mounting a 49" led turn signal/backup lightbar into the rear of the spoiler (blended) so it looks to appear that it came that way, disassemble, paint, reinstall..".
For the preposterous and pictures, I hope someone gets influenced by it and makes it look better then what I am doing... Again, it's just the way I believe I will be attached to my Monte.. I have two trunk lids and spoilers now. It will be differant lololol..."Mjc....

this is a very old thread and every now and then it jumps back up lol. the spoiler is still holding on strong and it takes a beating from the subs in the trunk. im still keeping my eye out for the rare SLP/intimidator III spoiler
You missed one by just 3 months, I joined in feb 2010 and had one for sale. Ebayed it off to California for 2hundred something. was even silver with team Monte Decal.
