What's the difference?

I keep seeing "Landau" as a trim line for the older Monte Carlo's, but what is the difference between the Landau and the base model and how long was Landau an optional trim line? I am puzzled...

Not all.

Full-vinyl top cars ... were NOT Landaus.

"Landau" only refers to cars with half vinyl tops.

The Monte Carlo had Landau versions in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations.
