Funny enough I changed the car's sound first, But for me it's appearance because I put her in shows basically all summer long.

 

Went the performance route first, which included suspension. Realizing the car needed to start looking like it was destined to perform that was the next phase. Audio finally went in, kind of like John said, to be a contender as a complete package at the car shows.

 

Performance, car has to run well. But I too agree that it is a real balance.

 

Performance. If my Monte got wrecked, I would want to get all of the performance stuff off of it, the appearance stuff can be redone a lot easier

 

I've done a bit of both to my Monte...but if I had to choose one, my vote is performance.
