get a pcm instead...

well if you want a hypertech i have one, but it would need to be unlocked by hypertech. i bought it used and the person that had it before me never uninstalled it from their car, so i never got to put it in my car. its been just sitting in my garage since i went with custom tune anyways. i'd sell it for $50 plus shipping to canada, but like i said it'd have to be unlocked from hypertech and i think thats usually around 150ish for them to do. still save you money, but its your choice. If your interested i'll get the part number tomorrow off the box and see if it'll work with a 2000. i dont believe there will be any issues.
you have a 3.8 right not a 3.4?

red04montels 01-20-2010 07:08 PM

is there a difference between the two models? i mean the 3.4 and 3.8?

Get a pcm like trewyn said- go on zzp and order a pcm. Forget hypertech, its not worht it.

So you've got headers, a cam, and you ported and polished everything- and you're still running a factory pcm tune?

If your car is really this heavily modded, maybe you should really consider either buying a powrtuner or HPTuners and learning how to do your own tuning- or find someone local to give you a custom tune.

The hypertech and over the counter pcm's are made to be a basic upgrade- if you're getting into a cam and heavier modding, a custom tune is really a much better way to go.

I also suggest finding a used Powrtuner or an HPTuner.
