Question Question on converting 2012 Chevy Equinox rims to my 2002 Monte Carlo SS.

So I found rims I really like for my Monte as I do not like the factory ones that came with it. The ones I want are on a 2012 Chevy Equinox. The factory specs for the Equinox show the tire to be 225 65R17. The Monte is 225 60R16. I did some math and came to a tire size that almost matches everything for speedometer matching purposes. The tire size I researched was 225/55R17 to match with the Equinox 17 in rims. The lug spacing appears to be identical according to various online sites. 5 lug, 4.53in with 11.5 mm High Positive Offset. Now I am just waiting for the time to do it and I wanted some feedback before I bought them to find out if I am right. Can anyone please help?

I don't think a '12 will work. IIRC '10-'17 is 5x120. I think only '09 and older and maybe the '18 are 5x115.

I am so wrong about this. My apologies. I have since found that 2005 through 2009 are the only years with lug pattern 5x115. That sucks because i really wanted those rims. Thank you and again my apologies. How do you delete a post? Lol.
