Underhood Switched Wire; Ignition On.

I need to know what wire I can tap into for +12V when the Engine is running.

My Fog Lights are staying ON when the Headlights are Off and they will stay ON if I forget to turn them off.

My plan is to run Hot Wire from the Battery through a Relay and have the Relay closed by an ignition on +12volt signal from a wire that only Hot when nthe Engine's running.

Anybody know or willing to take a crack at it? I could just test them all but I'm hoping that somebody in here an "Been there; done that!"

i know which wire to tap into to turn the fogs on w/the headlights offhand but i dont know a constant 12v for just when the engines on without going into the fusebox and tapping off of a fuse.

want either of those solutions?

Neither one.

I want to know the wire that gets 12 Volt Hot when the Key is ON. Or, ... when the Engine is running. I need to tap into that wire to use to trigger a Relay that will only be closes when the Key is ON ... or, ... the Engine is actually running. That way I can be sure that when I leave the vehicle and take my Keys ... I didn't forget to turn Off the Fog Lights.

Right now. They are getting a direct from the Battery feed and will remain ON if I fail to turn the switch OFF. I want to defeat that and install a Relay that will be triggered from a 12 Volt "Switched" wire somewhere under the hood. I was hoping someone knew which wire it was to save me the trouble of doing a Test Light Festival.
