Ugghhhhh fml
So I got the tires and rims on this morning, YEY. THey checked and saw if the front ones fit, and they did perfectly. So I drive a good 15 miles on them, go to wash the car and I smell this burning. Well they obvioulsy didnt check if the back ones fit, and the strut plate ground into my new tires.. So I called the tire place and had them order spacers. But whos fault is this, mine, for buying tires that should fit, or theirs, for not checking before it left their shop??

I've made similar mistakes by trusting those that were
suppose to know what they were doing...Now I do alot more
research when it comes to dealing with any business today.
It shouldn't have 2 be that way, but it seems more
& more companies just don't give a zhit

Yea, if the tires did not fit properly, they should not have installed them...they are the experts right! After all, we are just the stupid people driving the car (i'm not saying your stupid at all, i just am sarcastically saying the tire shop should have caught this), they should have guided you in the right direction! There fault!
Oh yeah. Their fault. Any reputable shop should have told you or warned you about rubbing issues. If you had gotten onto a freeway, it's possible you could have gotten a blow out at highway speed.

hold on... you rubbed your strut plates on a 17"? what size were they?
225/55-17????
I would have never thought about a rubbing issue on a 17" tire (mostly since they were an actual STOCK tire for our cars...)
Do you need a new set of struts/springs or something?
