suicide doors?
anyone ever seen this done on a 4th gen? Ive been discussing it with a friend and i like the idea a lot but i do not know how it would look and Google images is not helping me. i plan on getting the door handles shaved as well. from what i read u can have a remote or a switch to open if u dont have the handles.

I think it looks cool on any car. I say go for it. I knew a guy that had a 90 camaro with them and it did make getting in the backseat a little tight tho. Also he had door handles in the top of the door like a 70s vette would have. the push down type.
Like this but a smaller version.

I have to say thumbs down on the idea.
I think it's an expensive novelty that will wear off quickly. You'll wish you had spent the money on something else.
Think about it.
Not only does it make getting in and out of the back seat difficult. But if someone parks close to your driver side, you will have a hard time getting into the car because of the steering wheel.
Not only that, but the doors are closed 99.9% of the time. And when the doors are closed, nobody knows you have suicide doors. At best, they'll notice that the door handles have been shaved. You can do that if you want.
Shaving the door handles is a nice touch if you're turning your car into a show car. Because it puts more emphasis on the lines of the car.
What are your overall plans for the car? If you're building a cool looking daily driver, or a weekend cruiser, then save your money. Put it towards a really cool paint job, other visual mods, or some performance upgrades.
Suicide doors and lambo doors are a huge waste of money. Especially lambo doors. Lambo doors have been done to death.
