StreetGlow Installed

Best Deal Online ever!

So my car club ordered street glow kits for $140 each, But I didn't because I wanted to do 3 million led lights instead, may do that in the future still.

But I look on craigslist the next day after we installed three of the street glow gold series kits, and I see a kit on craigslist 10 minutes away from where I live, So he is selling a green Undeglow kit for $75 I offer $50 and he takes $60

Then we Installed them that same afternoon me and a friend, It took a couple hours to install because I had to run my wires over my fender wells to the the front of my car to connect each light,

But came out great

Thankfully I didn't get a ticket tonight, We have asked many juristictions about driving with our lights on and nobody said we couldn't that its fine and I had a cop by my house say you shouldn't drive with your lights on because it could destract others, He said if your close to a car show and have them on, no big deal, I will just use them for shows now, He was cool and said I have no problem with them and he said I just wanted to compliment you on your nice ride, I think he was saying it in a nice not to ride with your lights on, Its a grey area and I am not gonna take any chances so its for shows and show and shines.

As long as you're happy with it that's all that matters!

you should of gotten another color to match with your cars colors(like blue(decepticon)) but i understand for that price.

I would have probably gone with white, but its ok with green BECAUSE OF AMP AND DALE JR, so I will do my dash trim in green and my gauges possibibly in green and then I will add some green to the outside to later,

I will tie the green in better in the future, or I may switch to multi color kit later, But the price It couldn't be beat so I did it and I am pretty happy with it because these kits are bright and nice.

Here are more pics, Hope these are low good shots for you

The fourth picture makes me not like it. You can see the actual bulb.

mavrickf1613 09-22-2009 02:11 PM

yea but I put the bulb in front of the black sraper protector, I should have put it behind it but when I do put a body kit on you won't see any bulbs, If I had put it behinde the black pice under neath the bumper if you look at yours then you can see that you can hide the front bulb and it won't be seen

Interesting with the green lights. Would like to see how it'll turn out with the body kit installed.

Awesome job!!

chevyrider08 09-23-2009 02:16 PM

I lik ur idea to put them in front of black plastic...cause mine were installed n back of it...so when i have them on its a straight red line of light...doesnt seem lik natural leds lik sides n rear...n hell u care hardly see the front cause of that...

Remember seeing a blue 2005 Monte Carlo LT with underglow, it was purple and looked really sharp, made me think about getting it for my car...not so sure what color would go well with red.

red04montels 09-26-2009 10:50 AM

quartermain do red... thats what im doing...

where did you mount the bars? i wanna do it but im not sure if i should mount on the frame or not

Looks great. I will do a kit someday.

moonlitmagik 09-26-2009 09:39 PM

I wish I could install stuff like that. I don't have the tools. Well I do but i dont have the space. all i have is an alley behind my house. my dad's mustang is in the garage and that car doesn't move unless it's summertime.

Robyn it is not hard to do.

Then light kits could be installed by novices like me, with not much auto experience? I hope so, I don't want to pay out the behind for a shop to install them.

ChibiBlackSheep 09-29-2009 08:23 AM

Robyn you just need confidence and a standard set of tools.
