Porterfield Pads are great

I have the rs-4 pads, they dont list anything for a monte carlo but if you contact them they will make them and still ship same day.

are they pricey?

Bendix has never done me wrong. Basic, but effective pads...

Powerslot rotors and Hawk HPS pads. I got 115K on a set of pads and front rotors, and the back rotors are still good at about 130K. A few buck more, but they look good, and are EXTREMELY cost effective in the long run. And at 115K, there was still a lot of life left in them, but I wanted to replace them with my new F-body calipers before winter last year.

REMEMBER: ALWAYS hand torque your lug nuts tight with a hand torque wrench to 100 lbs. NEVER use an impact wrench. Sure fire way to mis-mount a wheel and warp a rotor. And re-torque them again after about 50 miles.

115k is mighty impreesive, i might switch over to Hawk pads.

one thing bad about hawk pads is that it leaves alot of brake dust. i'm running hawk pads up front and wagner in back right now. i think i'm going to switch to napa pads in the near future. forgot what's the name of the pads that napa carry, but i heard good thing about it.

EXQUEEZE ME???? Hawk HPS pads are the CLEANEST pads I've ever run in my 40 years of driving! And NAPA pads are WAY overpriced. You can put Hawk HPS pads all around for about $130 shipped.
