RE: side door moldings

folks ahve done them on diffrent year cars here but also some on the 6th gen's. Personally i like the look but i also like the look with them and i dont have to many door dings becuse of them taking the hit instead of the doors.

But yeah im sure ya can do it.

Just take off your door pannel and see if you have pins that come threw to the indies of the doors. some of them were actually glued on but also had a pin/post that went in to the door to hold them on better.
So becarefull other wise you will peal them off and have a hold in the door that will need to be filled etc....

They are just glued on, no pins. You'll need to make sure your paint is good under them. In other words when you take them off the paint will look newer where they were and may contrast with the rest of the paint on the car. I.E. paint fade from sun.

you can peel them right off, just heat it up and they should come off, shouldn't be much fading...ask chris (scc24540) he just pulled them off his monte, and there doesn't appear to be any fading there
