Should I......
So I found another pace car.... and I am really interested in it, the only problem is, its located in new york! Here are the details : 2002, Yellow and silver pace car #549/1100. Stored winters, has all certificates of autheticity laminated, 50 year old women drove it, and the best part of all.... only has 18K miles on it! From what I can see, the car looks flawless, the dealer is sending me more pics tommorow..... what do you guys think? there asking 14 grand for the price.....
this pic might tempt you a little more! 14 grand, chit, I'm lucky if I have 14 bucks!

IMO- way too high price. KBB dealer price on a 18k mile 02 monte ss is only $9k- I understand its a pace car and all, but they're not super collectible like a camaro or vette special edition (ie I don't see you getting your money back if you stored it for 10 years), plus 18k is kinda middle ground for mileage- you'd be afraid to drive it too much or you're going to turn it into a normal car and the value will tank- but even if you don't drive it, 18k is a bit high to buy a car and just park it.
Dealerships always ask way too much for "special" editions. Hoping and praying that someone comes along drooling over the idea of owning a collectors item. Sometimes they find someone who'll pay any price. But most times the car sits there a long time until they lower their price, or they get tired of looking at it and send it to auction.
